Here I am again!

Hello all!

It's time for me to write again. I had company this weekend so I'm just now getting around to this. My Grandpa and Grandma Schrofer came down to see me this weekend. We ate out a lot and I was a good girl. My favorite place we went was Shades, it was a floating restaurant that you had to take a boat to get to. I wasn't very fond of having to wear a life jacket, but once we got there it was worth it.

Let's see, in other news, my Mommy is still looking for schools for me. I guess she thinks that I'm advanced and I need to go to school before Kindergarten. I'm not sure how I feel about this, but we'll give it a go. Mommy will surely be sad to not have me around to help out with unloading the dishwasher, folding the laundry and any other number of things that I help out with, but that's her loss.

Alright, that's it for now. Hope everything is going well for you. I'll have another posting up here shortly. There are some new pictures here too, be sure to check them out. I'm cute.

Love to all-
Miss Grace

My Gecko Jumped Out the Door

Hi guys-

It's me again.

This week the gecko that lived in my room jumped out the front door when Mommy opened it to get a package off the front porch. I guess he was done living in our house. That's OK, I'm sure something else will move in soon.

Let's see, other than that not much has been going on. A snakey got caught in the garage glue trap, you better believe Daddy didn't release him the way Mommy makes him do with the geckos. He got "whacked" Daddy said. I'm in the office now and I'm allowed to tune the radio. 9 times out of 10 I will perfectly tune it to a Mexican station just so Mommy and Daddy think that I understand it. That way when they tell me "no" I can just pretend I don't understand English. They tell me "no" when I pick out and chew on the river rocks from the palm tree, when I wrap myself in the new kitchen curtains, and lots of other times. I'm just having fun though.

OK, that's it for me now. Have a nice weekend. Daddy's going to D.C. for a few days so it's just Mommy and me. Lucky her!!!!!!!!!!

I tried to tell Mom and Dad that I was NOT tired and DID NOT need a nap. As you see here I AM WIDE AWAKE. What do they know? Posted by Hello

This is just a shot of me being cute. You know, what I do best. Posted by Hello

Here's that shot... Posted by Hello
Here I am creeping. Actually my mom and dad are too cheap to buy me a walker so I have to push around my highchair and Exersaucer. It works. Mom says that the items are "multitasking" whatever that means. MOM'S NOTE: Not too cheap to buy a walker, she'll outgrow it as soon as we get it home and it will go by the wayside of the two Boppies, two bathtubs, swing and bouncer. Posted by Hello

Because this never runs out of fun...

I know it's early for snow games, but I can use this to cool down about now...it's soooooo hot here!!!

Click here...once you arrive at the site, click on the snow monster and then click on him again to swing his bat. Yes mom, I'm sorry to say that he hits the penguin, but keep in mind that no actual penguins were injured in the making of this game.

Cheers!

Being Nice is Fun...or Bears to Beslan

Hi all-

I just wanted to write really quick to let you know what Mommy and I did this morning. A few weeks ago when the school in Beslan, Russia was under attack Mommy could hardly watch the news without crying. So when she heard that a local truck driver was collecting bears to send to the victims' families as well as survivors she decided we needed to bring them some.

This morning we went to the store and bought two really cute bears that I wanted to eat. Then we went to the drop off place which was at out favorite radio station. The receptionist said how cute I was (repeatedly!!!) which made giving up the pretty bears a little easier. Anyway, it's nice that somewhere there will be two kids that get our bears and have something to cuddle with as they deal with many nights (probably years) of flashbacks and trauma from those three terrible days.

I'm glad we gave them some nice bears.

Here's the snakey that was on our porch today at lunch time. Mommy yelled at him...I don't know why, he's little and didn't seem to bother much...she's funny about things like that. I have a gecko that moved into my room this week and he never bothers me... Posted by Hello

Here I am doing some important stuff...answering the phone. Now mind you, I only like to ANSWER the phone, if Mommy hands me the phone when someone is on it I WILL NOT talk. Posted by Hello

Yeah, this was our BIG outing last weekend. Mommy got off the couch/floor and walked me out to feed Ghost and Joe. Big fun. Posted by Hello

Here I am enjoying bologna and cheese which is pretty fabulous. Posted by Hello

A Week of Fun.

So here I am again. Mommy said I did such a bang-up (?) job last week I could keep my job for awhile longer. It's been a better week...we did more stuff, but I'll post a picture of our BIG outing this weekend (when Mommy got off the couch and fed the horses...only because I banged on the door long enough that they heard me and walked over to the fence expecting a treat in return...but whatever).

Here's what we've done:

1. Had our first busted lip -caused by a face-plant on the tile...have no fear, once we got the nasty blood out of my mouth and I got a teething ring to make me feel better Mommy pulled out the camera...I smiled of course because I'm a professional

2. Ate bologna for the first time -because Mommy is now pretty much going for the world's record of the number of bologna sandwiches one can consume in a lifetime I thought I'd see what the fuss was all about...

3. Got on a waiting list for "school"- I'm not really sure what this is all about because I'm not going to school until I'm like 5 which is REALLY old, so why we need to get on a waiting list I have no idea, but now that I think about it, the kids at the school weren't old, they were my age...hmmmmm...I'll let you know what I find out

4. I learned how to answer the phone- well, actually I started off by answering my phone (which made Mommy smile and say how smart I was), the next day I thought I'd encourage her positive comments by answering my sippy cup and the remote control (I put them to my ear a say, "Ahhh?" or "Da?" because that's who Mommy always talks to on the phone)...but she didn't say how smart I was...

OK, that's it for now. I'm done typing. This is hard work. Hope you enjoyed it...I worked hard.

So, I'm posting the pictures and stuff this week. I'm choosing my own pictures and this is a good one. Here I am checking out the goods that we got in the mail from Grandma Duck yesterday. You can never be too sure about packages unless you thoroughly inspect them. This is some good stuff...totally Grace approved!!!! Posted by Hello

Mom called me a "ham" when she took this picture. I don't know what she's talking about...I see that big black thing and I just smile like this!!!! It's natural for a super model like me! Posted by Hello

I'd just like to share how flexible I am with everyone. Betcha wish you could stick your toes in your mouth like me!!!!! Posted by Hello

Since Mommy is letting me post this week, I'm picking the pictures I LIKE. Here's me with Apollo (the neighbor's dog). He likes to hang out at our house and I love him. Posted by Hello

Another Week...By Miss Grace

Hi!

Mommy's not feeling well and asked me to type this week. First off, I'm adding some color because black is boring. Alright, that's better.

Now, what have we done this week? Hmmmm, we did a lot of sitting around the house (Mommy is not very fun lately) trying to avoid going out into the ragweed. One afternoon it was actually cool enough that we braved taking a walk. That was nice and we didn't get too snotty or anything. We had a playgroup here with some "boys" on Wednesday. It was nice, we had lunch and everything. Then on Friday we went to an all girls playgroup at our other friend Grace's house. I got to see her big dog, Porter, and also we took some pictures with their lemurs. Yes, they have two ring-tailed lemurs in the backyard. They are very cool, but also territorial! Here's some information on them: http://www.thebigzoo.com/Animals/Ring-tailed_Lemur.asp. Also, that Miss Grace (NOT ME) is getting three sisters in a few weeks...wow (her mom is having triplets!!)! Good for her, but I'm glad I don't have to share my stuff with any sisters or any other babies...

Finally we got out of the house on Friday night and went to dinner at the Nutty Brown (http://www.nuttybrown.com/) and tried guacamole for the first time...it was VERY yummy!! Daddy took me outside to see Cheeto (the parrot), but I HATE parrots. He didn't know that, so it's OK, but one yelled at me in PetsMart and our friends, J and Sandra, have a bird named Sydney who talked to me once and freaked me out too. Birds and animals in general should be quiet and cuddly...no talking...like Lucky. She is the smartest pet I know. I love her.

Alright. That's it for me.

Love to all!
